Privacy policy

Tozun Solutions, based in Arnhem and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 42164824, is responsible for processing your personal data as described in this policy. I'm Erenay Tozun, the founder, and your point of contact for everything in it.

I only process data you share yourself or that is needed to run the website:

• Contact form: your name, email address and message, which I use to answer your question and, if relevant, prepare a quote.
• Email and WhatsApp: the details and messages you send yourself, for the same purpose.
• Clients: name, company details, contact details and billing details, to carry out the project and send invoices.
• Website visits: your IP address and technical details about your browser, which the hosting provider needs to show and protect the website, and anonymous statistics about which pages are visited.

I process data from the contact form, email and WhatsApp because you ask to be contacted (steps prior to a contract) or on the basis of legitimate interest. Client data is needed to perform the contract and to meet the legal bookkeeping obligation. Technical data and statistics from a visit fall under the legitimate interest of a secure, working website that keeps improving.

I never sell your data. I only share it with parties needed to run the website and my services:

• Web3Forms: forwards messages from the contact form by email.
• Cloudflare: hosts the website, protects it against abuse and collects the anonymous visitor statistics.
• Google Fonts: serves the website fonts. Google sees your IP address when doing so.
• WhatsApp (Meta): only if you choose to get in touch via WhatsApp.

Some of these parties may process data outside the European Union, for example in the United States. When that happens, it is based on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

• Messages via the form, email or WhatsApp that do not lead to a project: at most 2 years after the last contact.
• Client and billing data: 7 years, as Dutch law requires for bookkeeping.

The website uses a secure connection (https) and only I have access to your data. Notice something that seems off? Please let me know right away.

This website does not set cookies. To see how the website is used, I collect anonymous visitor statistics with Cloudflare Web Analytics, such as the number of visits per page. This happens without cookies and without following you across other websites, and the statistics cannot be traced back to you. That is why there is no cookie banner to click away.

You can always ask which data I hold about you, and have it corrected, deleted or transferred. You can also object to the processing or have it restricted. Send your request by email; you will get a reply within one month.
